Creating a connected café and restaurant identity through filtered light, natural materials and a restrained farm character.

Brief / approach / result
Working from supplied plans, dimensions, requirements and site references, I planned the connected café and restaurant and developed the furniture, materials, lighting and visual identity.
An interwoven reed ceiling filters light into soft, broken shadows, while timber forms and concrete openings establish a warm, grounded rustic character throughout the spaces.
Developed as a freelance project. I designed the complete café and restaurant interior, produced the visualizations and prepared the dimensioned AutoCAD design/execution package. Client communication and presentations were handled by a collaborating architect, while an independent contractor carried out the fit-out.
